ABOUT AUCKLAND
Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city and economic hub with 30% of the country’s population. It is situated on a beautiful harbor, with a mild climate throughout the year and is ranked the third best city* in the world to live in. Auckland has all the advantages of a big city – with major events, cafes, restaurants and bars, and the world’s best-known brands in Auckland’s shopping precincts. It is a vibrant place that celebrates cultural diversity and is known for celebrations like the Pasifika Festival, Chinese New Year Lantern Festival and Diwali, each of which attracts thousands of visitors each year.
